Body Worx Theme by Dretraxx & Psalm was named best Techno Track of 2016 by In My House Music Show. What a great way to start the year, eh? Many thanks to T. Carlita and crew. We appreciate the support!
Straight out of the Midwest comes an assortment of wild and exotic dance tracks guaranteed to captivate, amuse and entertain. First off, Fat Ribz lays down a catchy, quirky, chiptune influenced number featuring soaring pads and an arpeggiated bassline. Next up, JC3 comes through with some floaty, atmospheric tech-house layered with dense, ambient textures. Body Worx Theme, from Dretraxx & Psalm, pays homage to the jackin’ days of old school Chicago house. And lastly, Motwon offers a minimal shuffle house track with some (not so) subliminal messages.

Magnotron was launched in December 2014 by Ryan Brokenshire with support from Richard Kubina (a.k.a. Fat Ribz) as a platform to release an eclectic variety of unique electronic music made by Michigan-based artists. Two records were released simultaneously for the launch: a dreamy synth-pop record with house & techno influences from Ryan Brokenshire and an experimental IDM record with electro & chip tune overtones from fat ribz. Both records contain the artists' early experimentations with electronic music and set the tone for what's to come. Aside from the music, each release features original artwork that evokes the record's individuality. In today's electronic music world, Magnotron is a label that goes against the grain by exploring a diverse, heterogeneous range of sounds.
